About Me
I’m native of Silicon Valley and grew up in an early adopter family. My mom was a scientist and my dad was an engineer. Our house was always full of new experimental tech products: first microwave, first Apple Mac computer, first electric car.
That’s what got me interested in emerging consumer technology and product design. This led to studying at Stanford’s d.school and starting my career at frog design at the forefront of design thinking.
My curiosity leads me to ‘turn over all the rocks’ to see what I can learn. What are the messages?
I do this for cutting-edge products and also in life. I leave no stone unturned.
Have you ever noticed painted rocks on the side of a trail?

I took up trail running during the pandemic.... One day, I noticed painted rocks with written messages.
This one says: "carry this rock to the top of the hill and flip it over and leave it there."

My kids and I started making rocks to add to the game on the hill. I tried different messages to see what people used the most.

Since I ran the hill daily, I could see which rocks resonated because they moved to different places on the trail.
This was my most popular rock. "My Favorite View." The message on the back said: "Place this rock at your favorite view."

As a researcher, I turn over all the rocks. I seek to understand customer needs in order to provide solutions to those needs. I observe, learn, iterate and see what works.
